Name: Steve Heckford.
Instrument: Lead Guitar.
Joined Band: Joined band when formed in October 2001.
Previous Music Experience: Played guitar in various bands from the late sixties until the early seventies, then took a break from live music to concentrate on a new career.
Influences: Carl Perkins, Hank Marvin, Brian Setzer & Cliff Gallup.
Something Interesting:
 Self taught to play the guitar from the age of 8 after seeing Bert Weedon on television and hearing Apache by The Shadows. Invited to join a new band being formed by Phil Bell and Ian Howell in October 2001 which eventually became Rock-Around.
Main guitar is a Gretsch 6120, but also uses a Peavey Rockingham modified with TV Jones pickups, FenderStratocaster and Commodore 335.
Likes motorcycling and rides a BSA Rocket Gold Star and a BSA Lightning model.
